Blake’s Music Tuition is a professionally staffed and run private music school located in the historic Hawkesbury area of NSW. Originally located in smaller premises on the opposite side of Thompson Square, the business moved to its current position in the heritage and national trust listed School of Arts building in 1999. Built in 1861, the building was used for various cultural purposes for the local community, until in 1947 it was purchased and run as a boot factory. However, in 1999, the premises were purchased by a local musician and business owner, who restored the building to its former glory. As a result, the building returned to the artistic community, and was able to reclaim its position in the original town centre.
Blake’s Music Tuition has a fully professional roster of expert teachers (including several Sydney Conservatorium graduates), many of whom are at the forefront of their profession. All teachers are experienced at instructing all levels and age groups; with lessons conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
